VACATION!!!

Tomorrow is the last day before vacation and I am super excited!!! I'm ready to not be pulling my hair out for at least a week. Although I will be working so much over vacation that it won't actually feel like a vacation. O well.

I just got back from the African dinner at school and it was a lot of fun. The food was iffy but the people were great. I lost really bad at mancala but Autumn won the entire tournament!!! :-D There I was lots of people who graduated in the past and it was good to see them again. Then, there was a raffle to win an iPod Nano and Autumn won that too. She had a really good night.

About college news: I got accepted to UCONN, Quinnipiac and Salve Regina. I was excited about all of them. However, I got deferred from Northeastern. I was so upset and I still am. I guess now I just have to wait and hope. I probably won't go there anyway. UCONN is a nice school and it's a lot less expensive. I guess I will just wait and see what the future brings. I know wherever I go I will be happy. I just wish Northeastern was at least an option.

A moment to Breathe?

Do I really have time to write a blog? omg, I do! This is so weird because I have had no time to do anything for such a long time. I either have homework, work, school or something else going on. Like today, right after school I drove to UHart for viola lessons and I have a concert dress rehearsal at school at 7pm. I really should be getting ready for that because I have to wear black and white for the yearbook photo. o well.

Ok for some good news! :-) I got my first acceptance letter last Wednesday! I have been officially accepted to UCONN. :-D ok, it's not my first choice, but I'm still really excited about it. It's so nice to know that I will be attending college next fall for sure. Now I'm justed waiting to hear from Northeastern, Quinnipiac and Salve Regina. I really don't care too much about Quinnipiac and Salve but I still am anxious to hear back from them.

Friday!

I'm in french class right now and we have a sub so I'm going to update. So on Wednesday I went on a french field trip to NYC. It was so much fun. The movie is interesting and the food was really good. I just wish we could have had more free time to walk around and shop :-). Oh ya, I got accepted to UCONN!!! I found out on Wednesday and I was really happy because it's the first school I have heard back from so far. I didn't think I would hear back from them until mid-February because their deadline wasn't until Dec. 1st. :-D Now all I have to do is wait to hear back from Northeastern. (keep your fingers crossed for me :-P) I g2g because class is about to end and then I have to go to orchestra. ugh! That class is no fun :-(

Vacations are amazing!

I loved this vacation last week. I know it was only for a few days, but it was a lot of fun. On Wednesday I went to go see the football game in rockville. There I saw Jess and two of her college friends and they were cool. I spent most of my time with Sweta, Shannon and Courtney. It was fun, especially to see s-dubb come back to win after loosing 21-0. :-D On Friday I went to Circuit City and got a new cellphone. It was free! :-D I love those kinds of deals.

Today was ok. I overslept AGAIN so I had to run around and get everything ready in 20 minutes so I wasn't late. But of course I left all of my english stuff at home. o well. Tomorrow is an assembly during 2nd period (no orchestra :-D) so stats and physics are shortened. yay! Then after school tomorrow I have to work 2:30 - 7:30. no so yay :-P

Ready for Break

I am so ready for a break from school. I feel like I have no free time anymore. I either have school, work or homework. I really need to stop working as much as I do, but what can I say, I like the pay check. :-P

Anyways, today was actually a pretty good day. Christina came home from Northeastern and she came to school! :-D She came to french and madame mckenna was really happy to see her. (everyone else was too :-P) I missed her so much! So after french, christina came with me and crispy to orchestra. Today we had sectionals and they are sooooo boring. I hate sectionals so much. What is the point of them anyways?

At lunch, christina was telling us all about life in boston! Northeastern is my #1 school that I really want to go to so it helped talking to christina. I pretty much love everything about that school and I want to go there so bad even though my parents want me to go to st. joe's. (brother's college). Did I mention that st. joe's is in maine? ... ya. I hate being cold, why would I ever want to go to maine? I mean, the school is perfect for my brother, but not for me. My parents don't seem to understand that my brother and I are two different people. I just wish my parents would leave me alone about it.

So tomorrow is a half day of school and then I'm free! (until monday)

Long Day

I know people haven't written in blogs in forever, but i don't care. I like writing blogs in french but sometimes i just need to vent and that's kind of hard to do in french when you aren't fluent.

Today kinda sucked. I took the physics quiz which was next to impossible. I think I did ok on the multiple choice but i had no idea what i was doing when it came to the problems. o well. Orchestra today was the same as usual. Today we had sectionals and i hate them. I'm not really sure why I hate them... o wait, yes i do. I hate them because i'm always put in charge and then no one cares about what i have to say. I just wish someone else would be in charge for once. ugh. Nothing happened for the rest of the day until after school. After school on monday's i have viola lessons at uHart so i went there today just to find out that there was a huge power outage that shut down the whole campus. My teacher tried calling me at home at 9am to let me know not to come to my lesson, but of course i didn't get it. So, i drove all the way to west hartford and back for no reason. (just a little pissed off about that) Now i'm exhausted and can't wait until vacation because i need a break from everything before i completely freak out.

Wow, blogs are so much easier in english :-P
